FTA's 2012 Technical Innovation Award

Winners to be announced at the Annual Banquet during FTA's 2012 Forum "Flexo: Brand of Choice"Technical Innovation Award

Overview

The Technical Innovation Award recognizes companies and/or individuals whose visions and perseverance bring new products and technologies to the flexographic marketplace.

Each year since 1996, FTA rewards those creative thinkers and risk-takers who seek ways to further refine and advance the flexographic printing process and who bring significant contributions to the industry in terms of adoption, change, and competitive posture. Join the twenty past winners and be recognized as an innovator.

Judging

Entries will be judged by FTA member professionals and scored in six specific areas. In addition the judges will place each entry into one of three categories:

  • Prepress – Graphics (Prepress work flow solutions to include, file preparation and/or desktop applications and all plate imaging and plating technologies.)
  • Prepress – Pressroom (Any device and/or products that would be used in the pressroom prior to print production.)
  • Heavy Converting Equipment (Any types of presses and/or press components.)
